The launch of the 'Skills and Education Group Impact Report' at the House of Lords

When you meet people with the same ambitions as you, then events like yesterday's (19th April 2023) Skills and Education Groups launch of their 21/22 impact report become so meaningful.

We had the scenic view of the River Thames and the company of so many great people from a variety of sectors but in particular, our favourite - Hospitality!  The room was lit up with innovative and intelligent minds to help carry, inform, and prosper the skills sector forward.

Hosted at the prestigious Palace of Westminster, House of Lords, we met and spoke with so many aligned business partners and heard from some of the beneficiaries who have all progressed in their lives in so many ways thanks to the grants available from this inspiring charity.

The report highlights many key factors but just as importantly £112,405K was given by the Skills and Education Group through learner grants, action research grants, and resource and facilities grants. Guest speakers included Paul Eeles, CEO of the Skills and Education Group, and his ex-colleague the inspiring Baroness Burt of Solihull.

Toby Perkins (Shadow Minister for FE & Skills) was present and our founder/CEO Adele Oxberry had a brief conversation with him to set up future meetings regarding the future of skills training in the hospitality sector.

I highly recommend you read the report which can be found here...

We are proud to partner with the Skills and Education Group and we look forward to supporting them with their ambitions in the future.
