About the Role
As a Skills Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping learner journeys, working closely with both learners and employers to ensure skill development aligns with career aspirations and business needs. You will:
Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessments.
Support learners to develop English and Maths skills, including Functional Skills.
Collaborate with employers to ensure training programmes meet workforce development strategies.
Monitor learner progress, driving timely completion of apprenticeship standards.
Champion curriculum excellence within your specialist area and share best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
Proven experience within the Hospitality industry
Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience in teaching, mentoring, training, or coaching.
Desirable:
Industry qualifications at Level 3 or above.
Teaching/training qualifications (e.g., Level 4 Teaching Certificate, PGCE, TAQA, or CAVA).
Experience delivering online or workplace training.
