Beyond the Pass Returns: New Funding Secured to Support London Kitchen Supervisors
e are delighted to announce that, following the success of Wave 6 of our Skills Bootcamp: Beyond the Pass programme, we have secured additional funding from the Greater London Authority (GLA) to support even more London-based hospitality employers and their teams.
This funding creates an exciting opportunity for hospitality businesses to invest in the development of their kitchen supervisors through a specialist leadership programme designed to strengthen the skills that matter most in today's fast-paced hospitality environment.
Developing the Next Generation of Kitchen Leaders
The Beyond the Pass programme has been created specifically for kitchen supervisors who are ready to take their leadership capabilities to the next level. Participants will develop practical skills in:
Leadership and team management
Communication and interpersonal effectiveness
People management
Operational excellence
Workplace confidence and decision-making
With recruitment and retention continuing to be key challenges across the hospitality sector, investing in frontline leaders is one of the most effective ways to improve team performance, employee engagement and long-term business success.
GLA Funding Available
Thanks to part-funding from the Greater London Authority, employers can access this high-quality development programme at a significantly reduced cost compared to commercial training options.
To qualify for the funding, employers are required to make a co-investment contribution towards each learner's place on the programme.
Employer Contribution
Large employers: 30% contribution (£999 per person)
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs): 10% contribution (£333 per person)
The employer contribution is payable at the time of booking, and an invoice will be issued to secure each place.
This funding model enables employers to access exceptional leadership development while demonstrating a commitment to investing in their people.
