Princess Royal Training Awards Ceremony 2023
Last Thursday Umbrella Training’s CEO & Founder Adele Oxberry, Commercial Director Jenni Clarke, and Careers & Talent Director Director Zak Bentaleb celebrated with the winners of this year's Princess Royal Training Awards at St James's Palace.
The Princess Royal Training Awards celebrates those with outstanding training and skills development programmes and we were thrilled to be selected alongside 52 other amazing companies as well as win an award for our outstanding Umbrella Colleague Academy.
The Princess Royal was very keen to hear how our programme has grown since we were last awarded in 2020, as well as the impact that the pandemic had on the hospitality sector.
Adele Oxberry, CEO and founder of Umbrella Training, says: “This was such an incredible moment for me and the team. We are ecstatic about receiving this prestigious accolade once again for our Umbrella Colleague Academy.

Our Commercial Director Jenni Clarke said "We have seen a shift in the needs of our people, from our further hybrid working flexibility to our significant investment into virtual learning resources, there has been a change. A lot of hospitality experts revalued what they wanted to do in the sector post-pandemic and although a learning consultant is by no means a 9-5pm job, it is one where you can make a significant impact on your learners' future and career and that's a calling for a lot of people that they want to be involved in".
