The Apprenticeship Clubs are designed to provide support, off job training, learning activities and interactive meetings for our apprentices to help them achieve the apprenticeship.

It will allow you to develop new and interesting skills of which you can efficiently apply in your workplace and develop your own skill set from these experiences.
We pride ourselves in offering only the best, quality activities to our apprentices and will make sure every trip is as entertaining as the last!

So from us at Umbrella, we introduce you to our very own Apprenticeship Clubs.

Clever Clogs Club – For level 5 apprentices
Tidy Angels Club – For Housekeeping Team Members and Supervisors
Business Club – For Business Admin Apprentices
Customer Club – For all apprentices who handle customers

Learn the traditional art of wrapping and folding Dim Sum in true authentic style, learn how to steam using bamboo baskets, frying in a wok and boiling to perfection.

Understand the key basics of Chinese seasoning and what sauces to use to make delicious Chinese dishes every time!

This amazing 90 minute master class will be finished off with a delicious luncheon prepared by you and your fellow group members at our Covent Garden Cookery School.

Join us on 23rd October 2019 for a master class in cheese making.

You will be given a grand tour of the site and an indepth introduction to the history of cheese making and the many processes involved in churning out award winning cheese.

Yes! Harvey and Brockless are award winning cheese makers, providing cheeses to many of the top hotels and restaurants in the country, holding £4 million worth of stock at any one time.

Be prepared to get maxed out on the many varieties of cheese they have on offer and will be available for you to try on the day, including The Ashlynn which won Best British Goats Cheese 2018.

During your tour you will see how some of the cheeses are made, stored and even made ready for sale, with techniques such grating, slicing and portioning in large qualities, Cheesey-licious!!
